Accredited Mental Health
Social Worker
The Kind Mind Collective is a telehealth mental health practice run by Broady Robertson, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW #498629).
This practice exists because too many people have sat in therapy rooms where they had to explain themselves before the work could even begin. Where the therapist meant well but didn't quite get it. Where the approach was too clinical, too vague, or just not built for the kind of life you're actually living.
Here, you don't need to shrink yourself to fit the service. Sessions are grounded in evidence, shaped by lived understanding, and designed to be genuinely useful. We work with how your brain actually works, not against it. We take your context seriously. And we don't pretend the systems around you aren't part of the picture.
The approach draws on CBT, ACT, DBT, and trauma-informed frameworks. But the real foundation is a social work lens that holds the whole of your situation: your mental health, your relationships, your environment, your daily life, and the systems you're working within.
Three streams of support, all delivered via secure telehealth video call from anywhere in Australia.

This practice works well for people dealing with trauma, burnout, or emotional overwhelm who want more than surface-level coping. People looking for a therapist who gets complexity, whether that's complex mental health, tricky systems, identity stuff, or all of it at once. People who want therapy that's both reflective and practical, where you leave with something usable.
You don't need a formal diagnosis. Whether you're diagnosed, self-identifying, or still working things out, you're welcome.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if past experiences haven't been great. Here's how it actually works so there are no surprises.
Use the form below or send an email with a bit about yourself and what you're looking for. No referral needed to make contact, though you'll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP if you want to use Medicare.
A short conversation to make sure the fit is right. This isn't an assessment. It's a chance to ask questions and see if this feels like the right space for you.
Sessions run for 50 minutes via secure video call. The first session focuses on understanding what's going on, what you want from therapy, and starting to build the relationship.
From there, sessions are shaped around what matters to you. Some people come weekly, others fortnightly. The pace is collaborative, not prescribed.
All you need is a private space, a device with a camera, and a reliable internet connection. You can be anywhere in Australia.
Three funding pathways to keep therapy accessible.
With a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP. A gap payment applies.
